In Burnham Wood. It is cold and it is starting to snow. Three of the campaigners are standing around a wood fire. I find ,Danny Green, the leader of the campaign, and ask him some questions.
في غابة برنهام . إنها باردة وبدأت تثلج . يقف ثلاثة من المتطوعين حول مدفأة خشبية .وجدت داني , قائد الحملة , وسألته بعض الأسئلة .

What are you doing here in the wood'? Well, we're not on holiday! We want to stop the building of twenty luxury houses in the wood. The wood's a thousand years old and it's got an important wildlife, you know. It's not easy.
ماذا تفعلون هنا في الغابة ؟ حسننا لسنا في عطلة ! نريد أن نوقف بناء عشرين منزلا فخما في الغابة . فالغابة ذات العمر الذي يعادل آلاف السنتين وفيها حياة برية هامة جدا وكما تعرفون هذا ليس سهلا .

But we enjoy it because we're living with nature. We sleep in the treehouses and sometimes in the tunnels. We get up early and in the day we're always busy. We don't watch TV! We play music and talk a lot and don't go to bed late. I don't go out often. Occasionally, I visit some friends in the town. I have a hot shower and wash my hair.
لكننا نستمتع بها لأننا نعيش مع الطبيعة . ننام في المنازل على الأشجار و أحيانا في الأنفاق .نستيقظ باكرا وفي النهار نكون مشغولين .لا نشاهد التلفاز . نعزف الموسيقى و نتكلم كثيرا ولا نذهب الى السرير متأخرين .لا اخرج غالبا . ولكن بشكل عرضي , ازور بعض الأصدقاء في البلدة . لاخذ حماما ساخنا واغسل شعري .

There are up to eight astronauts on Alpha .They usually sleep eight hours every night in special sleeping bags .There is no gravity so they don’t need shoes .
يوجد حوالي ثماني رواد فضاء على ألفا .عادة ينامون ثماني ساعات كل ليلة في أكياس خاصة للنوم .لا توجد جاذبية لذا لا يحتاجون إلى أحذية .


the crew members can’t have a shower on the station so they wash with wet clothes and never brush their teeth with water! once a day, they spend thirty minutes on an exercise bike to keep fit .
لا يستطيع الطاقم الاستحمام على الحطة لذا يغتسلون بقطع قماش رطبة ولا يفرشون أسنانهم بالماء !لمرة في اليوم يمضون ثلاثين دقيقة على تمرين الدراجة لحفظ اللياقة .

They have normal food but don’t have salt or pepper because it flies away .They have meals in the kitchen but don’t have to think about what to eat .The astronauts choose their food months before the trip and a computer tells them their menu for every meal .

فهم يأكلون طعاما عاديا دون الملح والبهارات لأنها تتطاير .يتناولون الطعام في المطبخ , لكن لا يتوجب عليهم أن يفكروا بما سيأكلون . يختار الرواد طعامهم قبل أشهر من الرحلة حيث يخبرهم الحاسوب عن قائمة الطعام لكل وجبة .

In the station ,they wear t-shirts and trousers or shorts .But they don’t need shoes .When they go outside on space walks .They wear special space suits with oxygen and food for eight hours .

في المحطة , يرتدون القمصان القصيرة والبناطيل أو الشورتات , ويرتدون بدلات فضائية خاصة مزودة بالأوكسجين والطعام لثماني ساعات .

Astronauts on Alpha are busy .they check the scientific experiments in the
laboratories and do repairs or building work .The astronauts sometimes go ‘space walking ‘and do work outside the station .And every day one of the crew does the housework –it is very important to keep the station clean .

رواد الفضاء على ألفا مشغولين جدا .يتأكدون من التجارب العلمية في المختبرات ويقمون بعمليات الاصلاح والبناء . يذهب الرواد أحيانا في جولات فضائية خارج المحطة . وكل يوم واحد من الطاقم يقوم بالعمل المنزلي , فمن المهم ابقاء المحطة نظيفة .

Michael Owen has become one of the most famous sports stars in
